ZEDNY Islamic School provides your child a comprehensive weekly online Islamic education program for 1 or 2 hours per week. Classes are coordinated to suit your time zone at your convenience.
ZEDNY School subjects cover all what a Muslim child cannot be ignorant of in Quran, Arabic Language, & Islamic Education, which are the three learning tracks at ZEDNY.
Your child will learn 8 subjects in total; 4 subjects/week. Each subject takes 30 minutes.
Fine-tuned curriculums from authentic resources are integrated with interactive tools and frameworks to keep students engaged and learning.

All our courses are offered in English & Arabic. The students choose the language that is easier to them.

In each course, students work on a meaningful project related to their study. Throughout the project, they acquire key Islamic knowledge, while practicing the 21st century skills; collaboration, communication, creativity, & critical thinking.
Our courses are designed in a way to keep students engaged all the time. They learn Islamic Studies while being in continuous interaction with their peers, teacher, & the content.

Every student has a unqiuely-tailored plan according to his/her personality, previous knowledge in Islamic education, and unique skill set.
Weekly sessions take place on Zoom platform. Our teachers are proficient at using Zoom's interactive teaching tools.
The learning management system on which teachers share with students media, handouts, resources, and project work is Google Classroom.
Session timings are set with flexibility in order to suit your time zone.
A report is sent to parents every 3-6 months with the child's progress in all subjects.
A certificate is given to the child upon completion of each level.
Q: What are the teachers' qualifications?
A: All teachers at ZEDNY are highly trained educators that are experienced in modern interactive education, highly proficient in English, studied either at Al-Azhar University or at another prestigous institution, and have vibrant and lovely personalities!
Q: Are schedules bound to certain time-zones?
A: Schedules are 100% tailored to each student's time-zone.
Q: Are classes bound to certain days of the week? (for example: Sundays)
A: Nope, class timing can be in any day of the week according to the convenience of the student/parents.
Q: Are classes taught in English or in Arabic?
A: According to your preference. ZEDNY's special team contains not only teachers who specialize in English-communicated education but also teachers who specialize in Arabic-communicated education; and, both excelled throughout the years.
Q: Are classes collective or 1-on-1?
A: For maximum benefits, all classes at ZEDNY are 1-on-1, by default. However, parents can request for students who are friends or brothers/sisters to attend classes together.
Q: Through which online meeting platform the classes are conducted?
A: Through Zoom.
Q: What age range does ZEDNY teach to?
A: ZEDNY specializes in youth education; from 7-21 years old.
Q: Can an adult enroll in any of the tracks?
A: Of course! Adults had great results at ZEDNY for there are teachers who are experienced in adult education.
Q: Is learning at ZEDNY suitable for children of an Arab household living in a non-Arab country?
A: 1000%! ZEDNY has A LOT of students who are children of an Arab household living in a non-Arab country.

A: Of course! You can inquire about all in-depth details of the curriculums taught in any track.
Q: How do I keep track of my child's progress?
A: Detailed class reports are sent after each class with all topics covered, progress insights, behavioral notes, and miscellaneous notes tailored to each class. Furthermore, quarterly checkpoint reports are sent every 3 months regarding larger-scale progress insights, and semi-annual live presentations are conducted by teachers to parents every 6 months to assess long-term progress milestones of grand plans with video recordings showing their child practicing every progress point.
